VETERAN CAR CLUB OF AUSTRALIA (N.S.W.) INC

Do You love old cars?

The start from our annual Blue Mountains Rally (2002)

We do, and the older the better

Who are we?
The Veteran Car Club of Australia (NSW) Inc, was formed in 1954 to encourage the preservation and restoration of veteran motor vehicles built before the end of 1918. The Club caters for cars, motor cycles or commercial vehicles manufactured prior to 1st January 1919. For a detailed account of the history of our clubs founding click here.

What do we do?
There is a regular range of motoring events such as picnic days, charity events, weekends away at selected pleasant spots, and leisurely tours of up to 2 weeks away. Motoring events are augmented by a range of social activities such as theatre outings, dinner dances, BBQs, etc, and family involvement is a particular objective.

Do I have to own a car?
No, you don't. You just have to be interested in old cars. Members without vehicles are encouraged to participate in all club activities. Joining the club is the best way to learn more about Veteran Vehicles and to find out where to get one.

The Clubrooms
The Club has its own building at 134 Queens Road Five Dock, with several halls for rental which are used by other clubs, too. As well as monthly meetings, we hold social functions there.

The Library
The Clubs library is one of the best sources in Australia for information about Veteran cars. We also have historical records that enable us to identify and confirm the Year and Model of such vehicles.

The Monthly Magazine
Spit & Polish, the Club's monthly journal, contains information on club activities, rally reviews, historical and restoration articles and technical tips. It also features For Sale and Wanted advertisements.

Come and meet us
Visitors are always welcome, so come along to a meeting and find out about the Club. Meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month, except in December (no meeting), in the clubrooms at 134 Queens Road, Five Dock, NSW. Just contact the Hon. Secretary, see below.
