A note on the back of this original photo tells us that it was taken by Mr G.P.Innes, that the lady standing at the
rear of the car was his wife, the children were his, and that the gentleman standing in front of the car was Captain
F. Innes. This 1909 A-Type Vauxhall was owned by Mr G.P. Innes, who was also the NSW sales agent for Vauxhall at the
time. This particular car was sold soon after this photo was taken to Mr Leslie W. Pye.

Both these photographs show a particular sporty looking 1912 A Type which was owned by Mr Sam Tym of "Edall",
Coonamble NSW. This cars's registration number was 137. Note at least one "Prince Henry" Vauxhall which can be seen
behind Mr Tym's car in the upper photo.

Another photograph of Mr Sam Tym's 1912 A Type. Hand written on the back of the original copy of this photograph
are the words: "Helping Vauxhall Prince Henry around the bend up from Burragorang". If this Vauxhall was indeed a
"Prince Henry", it was not fitted with that models very distinctive pointed radiator.

Mr Leslie W. Pye, who lived in Harris Park, became the owner of this 1909 A Type Vauxhall, after purchasing
it from its original owner, Mr G.P. Innes. In 1910 this car was allocated registration number 848.
Note the A.C.A. (Automobile Club of Australia), badge on the dashboard.

Both these photographs are believed to be of the same car a 1914 model, fondly known in Australia as Fifty Bob, chasis
number A210. The top picture shows Boyd Edkins at the wheel. This was the form the car took, when driven in the
1916-1919 period, stripped of all unnecessary equipment. The lower photo shows the same car with a touring body,
it carried between about 1920 and 1924. This car survives and is listed in the next section.
